If you have ever been to Twin Falls, you have probably seen Shoshone Falls. This was my first time, and it was definitely worth the travel and the park entrance fee. Believe me, it was hard to narrow down the choices. Hope you enjoy them.

On a clear day with the sun at my back, there was a rainbow.

He's not as close as it looks. There is a sheer drop off though.

Couldn't get over that rainbow.

Every dot on the light rock is a pigeon, ready to play chicken with the water. (Download and blow up.)

If you look closely, you can see a double rainbow. I've never seen that in a waterfall before.

Pigeon looking for a pot of gold. (At times like this it's good to have a 30 MP sensor.)

And finally, a Shoshone wannabe on the road out of the park.

Very nice set of captures
Beautiful. I don't know why but, I prefer the last one.
These are great. Every time I drive through there, I plan to stop. I never have. Truthfully, I don't know how to get to the falls!
Very nice images.
Come back in the spring. You’ll be more impressed.
Also there are many smaller falls into the canyon below Shoshone, especially after some rain. You go down near the bridge. The road is tricky to find and has a dead end sign, so ask at the Visitor center next to the bridge. You might also catch some bridge jumpers.
