I purchased a Kodak Tourist II with the goal of repurposing the lens for use on a Nikon mount. Much to my surprize there is an exposed roll of film in it. I'm curious if anyone out there would like to develop the roll. I have no idea what, if anyting is on it. It is obviously decades old. I would just like to see the pictures if there are any. If there are any takers, just PM me your address, and I will drop it in the mail.

Your local drugstore might still develop film. You should pay the minimum given the potential to be a complete waste. Use someplace that does scanning and will give any results back as digital files you can edit / use later.

What kind of film?? Black & white, such as Verichrome Pan or 'newer' C-41 process color film should be no problem. Older C-22 color film will most likely present a problem. Good luck

The roll is black paper with a silver printed label. I am assuming B&W, but I really have no idea.

You might need to reach out to someplace like TheDarkRoom.com where they can confirm they can do the processing (and scanning) via mailorder.

620 film is simply 120 film on a different spool. Any lab processing 120 film will be able to do it so long as the cjemicals for your particular film ate still current. I recommend Dwaynes Photo in Kansas, shouldn't be a problem for them at all.
Exactly what does the printing say?

I'm not interested in spending much money to discover that the roll is either unusable or contains a few essentially useless images. It's just an offer for some adventurous soul who still has a darkroom and would like a fun project. I know I can have it profssionally developed, but I'm not really interested in that.

Must say I have never seen that particular backing paper. But made in USA is a good sign. Probably a Kodak product of some sort.

I had some 620 film developed by B&H not all that long ago 2 or 3 years ago, something like that!

It might cost a few bucks to send it to someone. Also, this puts the responsibility of identifying the type of film on anyone who volunteers to look at it, and it may be a color film that someone doesn't have the ability to process. Then what? Just take it to someone and pay the price if you really want to know what's on it.

Google these photo labs, get their phone numbers, call them, ask the labs about prices and such.

Looks like it is B&W film. https://www.ebay.com/i/153597839517?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=153597839517&targetid=595076253768&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9031328&poi=&campaignid=6470636535&mkgroupid=77538519077&rlsatarget=pla-595076253768&abcId=1140476&merchantid=114622472&gclid=Cj0KCQjwrMHsBRCIARIsAFgSeI3iiXgwf4iPbbkhW6dF9AiqHTgusEqq0EgXE9prdyMMwzAyrgW7ZIUaAuxAEALw_wcB

You can send it to me. I develop it for free and use it as a training item in my photo class. If you are interested just PM me.

All film starting with 6 is Kodak. 620 is simply 120 roll film. The 6 indicates Kodak spool ends, and 620 is often 120 spooled on Kodak spools. Camera's can be converted from 120 to 620 and vice versa. The Tourister II lens was a superb lens on a Kodak folder body. It was often also used on a variety of old folder 120 camera's by user intervention.
