Hi all! I just returned from a workshop in the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks. By eclectic I mean we went out mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Subjects ranged from broad landscapes, macro, rivers, streams, waterfalls, old barns, new barns, river banks, leaves, trees, night sky, bridges, covered bridge, full color and black&white to whatever we chose as subjects. So here is an album I just finished for your enjoyment. All photos were taken with my bought-used Nikon D7000 with only the standard 18-55 mm lens and my well-used Manfrotto ball- head tripod. No ND filters, no polarizers, no extension tubes. But lots of back up batteries. I like to travel light! Oh - all photos were taken in manual mode, manual focus, auto white balance. All photos were mainly ISO 100-400, except the night sky which was ISO 2000. The night sky photo is composed of 4 horizontal frames stitched together into a vertical panorama using Lightroom. Lastly, all photos were taken within the confines of the Adirondack State Park, NY.
