Some more . I have seen some mighty fine photos of trees on here. Do you have changing leaves yet? Fancy trees, old trees young trees, stately trees? Let us see them.

Trees that provide privacy?

Here are a few.... our leaves should be changing in the next month or so. Though the fall may not be as colorful as usual because of our drought... many trees had dropped a fair amount of leaves.

They all look pretty good to me.
I love trees. That's why I volunteered for today.
Like that little pine cone.

A few more.

Abandoned house also in WA. I had cropped but guess I didn't save the cropped version.

Don't know why the trees were painted. If any in WA knows, please tell us. One person said it was some kind of protest.

I won't be around much tomorrow because mom is having a family reunion.... not looking forward to it because it is supposed to rain. If it does I may not stay as long as she wants me to. I will post some trees before I go or after I get home - probably when I come home... have a great day Marilyn - sorry I can't be here like I usually am. I will be gone Monday and Thursday this week also.

This is my favorite "BIG TREE" located in Bacalar, Quintana Roo, MX
That tiny black spot under the tree is my 1990 Olds 4 door sedan.
it is 170 ft from one edge of the tree limb to the other - that was in 2002 - they have sense made a park under and around this tree. The inside limbs were covered with orchids - orchids a a native parasite to trees there.

when we ask a local what kind of tree they called it - he said "Big" lol

Well, we will miss you. You will get to see some 'kissen cousins' perhaps. Reunions are always fun.
I think we will all get some rain this weekend.
Maybe someone will have some indoor trees....Bonsai (spelling?)
to post.

This old dead ceder tree is a reminder of mans unplanned progress -
for 15 yrs my family had pic-nicked near this tree and then the Forest Service paved the parking lot - too close to it - it has been like this for a long time now - too proud to fall over.

Wow, Harvey. That must be some kind of BIG to make your car look small. I knew people would have some favorites they would like to share. Like the second post too.

I just remembered another tree I wanted to share. It's called a pawpaw tree. It bears fruit that is delicious. We have a town called Pawpaw in MI. named after the tree. I found one growing on my niece's property just this week.

Pawpaw tree, I hope downloading will show the fruit.
