Spent a long time masking Barley from her background then added the texture from Daily Texture.
Very good Jim, lovely little dog. I think you have left his left back foot out...

That foot was in tall St. Augustine grass in the original picture. Couldn't figure out how to make it work. Now after some time I could have duped the right foot then added it to the left leg. I will work on that today. Thanks for pointing it out and getting me to think about it again. 🤔
Kind of an early-morning fog effect - really nice!
Wow what an incredible and effective effort in masking her out. If a foot graft doesn't work you might try making the grass just a little taller under that leg.
Love this image and it's softer feel Jim. Good choice from Daily Textures. Bev

Look forwards to seeing it Jim..
Thanks Tommystrat,
Never thought about it looking like it was shot during a morning fog but after your remark I think you might be right.🤔
Thanks Curmudgeon,
I spent a lot of time of the masking using two Barley images and then blending the soft hair with the background without strong edges. Thanks for noticing.👍
Thanks Bev.
I too thought the soft texture worked with the picture. I had to play with the saturation to get it just right.😊
Val,
Hope this new picture works for you and others with the fixed paw. 🤔 Still added some texture over the bottom as I think it would be dragging through the grass.
