I’m looking for an ultra-lightweight (less than 12 oz), super-zoom (greater than 25x), small (pocketable) point and shoot camera with a flexible/multi-angle rear touch-controlled screen, wi-fi and geo tagging, greater than 30 MP and a great lens. Any suggestions?

You might be looking for a unicorn. Is price no object? What you're looking for is going to cost a pretty penny.

DXOMark has a camera database where you can use sliders to set you parameters and click 'high end compact' cameras.https://www.dxomark.com/Cameras/ As you can see, if you lower your sights a little down to 15 mpx you can get more moderately priced quality choices and still be able to make nice top quality prints. https://design215.com/toolbox/megapixels.php

Check the Canon G9X II and similar offerings from Sony or Nikon. The Powershot 'G' line has several models, all I think based on 20MP sensors, but some capture in RAW like the G9XII, others have different focal length zooms. They're the size of a deck of cards and comfortably fit in your pocket for immediate access and use.

Thanks, I think I'm homing in on the Canon PowerShot SX740. It meets most of my needs which I believe is the best I can do.

Thanks for your input. I think I'm homing in on the Canon PowerShot SX740. It meets most of my needs which I believe is the best I can do. Unless Canon is developing an improved version.

Your Dreams are quite extensive in details, but I highly doubtful if all those combination of your camera desires are realistic. Especially the 30mp in a Point & Shoot.

If you're willing to wait 10 yrs, I'm sure this will be available.

The state of the art in 12oz cameras with retractable lenses is 20 mp, 8.3X zoom. It will cost you $1200 and has a 1" sensor and weighs 10.65 oz.

You'll have to do some googling to find others. If it's available it will be onb B&H's website. But I doubt you'll find what you are looking for.

Sony HX99, shoots RAW, only missing item is that it is not 30 MP. But I can get 20X30 prints from it without effort. And by shooting in RAW who needs 30 MP. Less than 12 oz. with a 24-750 mm Zeiss lens with a pop up view finder and a articulated rear screen.

Not having a view finder is a negative. LCDs in bright light are a pain.

That is exactly why the Sony HX99 is great, pop up viewfinder.

Aside from surveillance work, I can't imagine the need for a 30x zoom. When there is a LOT of air between the camera and subject there are a lot of optical problems - haze, heat waves etc. A nice bridge camera or micro 4/3 camera might serve well.

My advice is to give up on the 30 MP and stick with 15 to 20. For any camera with a zoom that big, you will not need 30MP, because you can "crop" using the zoom lens. Even if you are taking landscape shots that you are going to blow up bigger than 1 meter, you will find that 20MP is plenty.
