Not new to photography, but I know I have a lot to learn. I started out with a Canon EOS 650, cheap lenses and was amazed at the pictures that I some how was able to capture. Digital came around and I ended up with a couple of EOS Rebels and thought it could never get any better. I just bought a 77D, have no clue as to what it is capable of, but after browsing this site and all of the great info it contains, I hope to one day run it to the limit. I do strictly non professional photography, my budget doesn't allow for a 10K rig, but I really enjoy taking photos. Mostly landscapes and sports, some macro and a few wedding shoots. Still learning as much as I can to go full manual. F stops, shutter speed, aperture settings for different scenarios are still part of my learning curve, but the wealth of knowledge available on this site is invaluable. I don't know if I am looking forward to a lot of messed up shots to learn more or learning enough to use more than ten out of a hundred shots. I do know that this is one of the best resources an amateur could find. Thank you all for sharing your knowledge.

Welcome to the UHH. My understanding is the EOS 77D is a pretty nice camera.
Welcome, from another Minnesotan. What part? I'm NE of the Cities. The 77D is a very capable camera and similar to my 80D. Ask, I'll try and help.

Hi and welcome to the Hogs! I was born and, for the most part, raised in Minneapolis, but I haven't been back since 1965. I have always planned to vacation there, but it is still on my bucket list.
Welcome and good luck to you sir. You'll do just fine.
