That first one is great!! Did you do any post on it? I played with it a little and added some sharpening and it looks a little better. But a great shot. good colors!!

PJ, That is only half a full Moon:) Are you sure it was cloudy and not the other Blue Moon that made it look cloudy?:):)

Barely made it...shot at 11:49 PM. Used a 55-200 set a 200mm on a Sony A55. Had to shoot thru broken cloud cover. I really need more lens to get those Wow shots with fine detail, but was fun trying. R.I.P. Neil Armstrong, thanks for being our Nation's first man to walk on the moon and all those great Apollo 11 memories. Now gotta get to bed. I plan to leave for the Smoky's early tomorrow morning for 4 days. Have fun UHH'rs with your Moon shots.

Well the clouds parted for just a little while. Enough for me to get a few shots in.:):) Still, they seem to be a little hazy. But that might be me, it is late.:0 Got a few that were pretty good.
