One of my favorite outings with my daughter is to a sunflower field. The owners wife likes sunflowers so each year he plants hundreds. This year rains destroyed his first planting but he planted again - a labor of love. My daughter and I wander thru the inspiring field and are mesmerized by its beauty. I'm glad we may cut all we want as I like making flower arrangements.
Bancroft, a beautiful and obedient Golden Retriever. is my therapy dog.

I remember taking a ferry from Michigan to Wisconsin and seeing nothing but Sunflowers forever. They do make a beautiful sight!

These are all nice, but I adore the portrait of Bancroft. And I don't just automatically like all photos of dogs. It shows a sweet, giving spirit.

Thank you, Kris. Bancroft is a Wonder Dog. His owner has trained him since he was a pup and he obeys her every command. I love Bancroft and the feeling is mutual. Since many Hogs have enjoyed him in this post, I should post a series on him.
