Does anyone know how to make GIF’s from video files?
Most video processing software will allow you to take snapshots from a video file.
Adobe Premiere Elements does it. You mark the part you want and use one of the output options.
IF (Big IF) I recall correctly PS CC can also create gifs by extracting a limited number of frames out of a film format and from there create a gif.
Just do not quote me on this, I 'recall' this function when I was learning how to make a gif out of series of captures.
Yes, my memory did not fail me. It is possible.
I struggled to find the tools needed but in the end it worked.
I just created a gif as demo from a video downloaded from the WEB...
