“47greyfox” my reasonable question cannot be considered “rudeness” when the troll OP who posted it never bothered to respond. That rude non-response is exactly what I expected. I’ve been a UHH member for five years and have learned to recognize bologna with or without mayonnaise. Have a nice evening.

Is calling someone a troll.....rude or what?

According to:

Is Irregardless A Word? - Everything After Z by Dictionary.com

https://www.dictionary.com › is-irregardless-a-word
Irregardless is a nonstandard synonym for regardless, which means “without concern as to advice, warning, or hardship,” or “heedless.” Its nonstandard status is due to the double negative construction of the prefix ir- with the suffix -less.

Why are we talking about the word "irregardless"?

It was used by a member in response to a post. Then another poster stated that "irregardless" was not a word. I was pointing out that while it is a non-standard word, it is nonetheless a word. That's all. You may have to read some of the prior posts to completely understand.

but the detour questioning it's use/misuse, didn't identify where that happened, so this is really really a wasted misuse of energy.

I guess I thought pressing 'Quote Reply' - as I just did - instead of 'Reply' didn't require any extra effort, but "whatever".

I did press "Quote Reply" when I responded to the person that said irregardless is not a word. Just like I pressed "Quote Reply" when I responded to yours.

I apologize.

The link was 'broken' by the @kenArchi comment at 22:31:57 that asked about the word without giving a hint of why the question was asked.

I guess Linda [From Maine] and I can then discuss HYPERLAPSE (correct spelling) ad nauseum until we get sick of this rather gimmicky technique.

A google will show what a hyper-lapse is. If he didn't spell it exactly correct, no biggie.

1995 my ass, 1882! Done to create what the UHH OP asked about. Different from the Motion Picture or Video technique.

Your example does not appear to be a hyperlapse as there is no significant change in the camera position. It is more a brief time or chronophotography .
