Sig Sauer are my favorite hand gun company; the quality of their work and their attention to detail is absolutely first class. I have one of their very special Mastershop guns (made in Germany in the late 90's), a P226 X-Six Scandic (here's a pic of this model): https://dygtyjqp7pi0m.cloudfront.net/i/34372/29784124_1.jpg?v=8D5A792FDB19250

It's not just beautiful, it's also very functional. If I miss a 1 inch grouping at 25 yards, it's never the gun, it was me, twitching.

I don't know for sure, but I'd say that they are.....a lotta work went into them and the grips were made from the USS Olympia the ship that brought over the unknown solder from Europe.

They are not guards. They are sentinels. Check it out. My father was one in the late 40’s.

The P226 is the gun the Secret Service uses in the protection of the president.

😎

Nope, purely a consequence of good basic sidearms training, lots of practice, and a very special pistol.

Here’s a quick mobile shot of my P226, and my last 25 yards X 10 round local club competition; the inner circle is 1” diameter.
