I've watched a lot Great Blue Herons hunt, and noticed that after a missed strike they, more often than not, vigorously shake their heads back and forth several times to clear ingested water. Essentially resetting themselves before another try.
My aim is to capture the parabolic arc of water droplets produced by the shake. This image is only partially successful, since it is hard to distinguish the spray of the water drops against the background water surface.

I see the water drops clearly. Very nicely done. (I wouldn't want to be the next fish that gets into this heron's radar.)
