I'm a h****r, there are things I would and will not consider shooting - even if legal. I stick to things in abundance. Giraffes, elephants, lions, gorillas- as well as whales, manatees, sharks, large game fish... are NOT in abundance. I am positive I could k**l every one of them, there is no sport in it, I don't need to prove it. This is almost as bad as poaching- just a notch above, but poaching is by far the worst. .

I think (not really obviously, but has crossed my mind) Africa, and elsewhere, should open season on poachers. Anyone found within a certain border armed, or harvesting parts of a dead (poisoned) animal is open game to permit holders to shoot on sight.. Have people be able to buy a license to do so, have some rules, like an operating go-pro or similar system to record it .... all legal. You'd only have to shoot the first few. In fact, you could make up a story about the first few, let the word spread around, and I am thinking the poaching problem would be mostly solved.

Baz, If you are referring to me, I stated there is no weapons in the picture and there is no blood and further, they are not even dressed as h****rs. In my opinion the animal was given a sedative so they could work on it, nothing more.
