Sonny , darn you old fart get in that RV and travel the states . There's a whole lot of traffic to get caught up in. I don't travel anymore for health reasons but, if I was able , yes , I would go everywhere throwing up the telescope in every RV camp along the way. I would also pull the Tug and let her touch the Great lakes. Enjoy life , you could be like me and live day to day hoping that the day isn't as bad as the day before.

Oh, I hear ya Ronnie.
Ann may or may not be up for such adventures. It was the BIL's idea.
I'd be happy to do anything but mark time in one spot.
And then I think about the youngest grandkids, and how they need us during these formative years. There's no "speriance" like experience. And we add to them where their parents don't or can't. So much so, they'd rather be here than home.
And if we were to run off, they wouldn't have that stability in their lives like they now do. No sanctuary to count on.
And winter is coming on now, too. Likely Ann's last, if she even gets to winter. So probably, and most likely, Grandiose plans will stay close and/or near. Pacific Southwest sorta thang.
This inevitable event is sending ripples of mortality through the Family waters. Not me, I've always accepted that just as we are born, one day we will pass. I made my peace with death in my 20's. And I use to think how far off the year 2000 was. Now it's fleeting away behind us.
But poor Ann isn't even retired yet. Work your fingers to the bone and whatta you get?
Screwed by death.
And that's one we are all gonna take one day.

I've been dead before and it's nothing , I'm not going to be able to get my "Bucket list finished" . I can't take anything with me , it was one heck of a life I'd say. Life is live one day at a time , Sonny "no regrets".
