Debbie thanks for your comments and even going back into some of my others. How nice of you. I found your website and your dog images are wonderful. And what a wonderful opportunity to meet so many dogs and their companions.

I don't really do other people's dogs as I'm supposed to be retired, but busier than when I had a career. I got into photography to carry me over from work to retirement, but soon become completely enveloped with all types of photo subjects, but still mostly outdoors. And to top it off, I love post processing. We have what's called the High Desert Museum in town and I'm fortunate enough to get behind the scenes and photograph their raptors in flight a couple times a year. That little aplomado is really fast and I've tossed a good many away trying to capture it.

Thanks again for your comments and hope to see more of your images. Bev

Many thanks Val for your kind words. I work a full time job and to be "honest and pay taxes on items I might sell" did establish a business name, but had to have back surgery the beginning of 2019 and with rehab and it taking a long time to get back to close to where I was as far a functioning goes, I did no business at all in 2019. I have a small space (storage closet) at the obedience school where I take my dogs for classes, and LOVE to take photos of the students and their dogs during the classes. I keep up with the schools website and FB page posting photos and that brings me more joy than I can express. The students each get a portrait of their dog along with one of them working with their dog. It gives me a change to keep practicing my photography doing what I love. This year looks like its going to be another slow period, and I'm pretty much certain I will close out the "part-time" business at the end of the year and just become a "happy hobbyist" That is what makes me happy, seeing the students faces when they get their photos. I hope to retire in another 4 yrs. and spend more time outdoors with nature and practice a lot more on my editing skills (which I'm horrible at) I will continue to look for your photos and look forward to seeing more of your work
