This is a weird one. A man was using Google Earth to look at his old neighborhood, and he saw a car submerged in a pond. The car and driver had been missing for over twenty years.

That is interesting....we used to live in Wellington, Florida, where they found the car and driver.....a very lovely community.

This has been playing locally, interesting....sorry for the family, but at least they have closure. His (the driver) last call was to his then girlfriend, he was leaving a bar/club (mental state unknown) may/may not have been impaired, and drove into a pond, somehow did not get out (passed out, or did not know how to get out of a sinking car, we will never know). This actually happens fairly often downhere as many pond/lakes/retention areas have no guard rails, sometimes there isn't even a sign; impaired drivers, lost drivers, heavy rain (can't see and end up driving into the water), running from the law, etc.

Sad, but happens.
