Lovely photo and that cake looks like it was delicious!!
Your photography is just amazing. I always appreciate your images.
Thank you for your kind words Sue... and yes that cake certainly was delicious...
In fact it proved to be a major distraction while photographing it... lol
No chance for a re-shoot in as it quickly disappeared...
You're way too kind mcmama... I certainly appreciate you glowing review...
These images were lots and lots of fun... no client in the mix, just shooting for my friends...

I like the Batman mask on the one blueberry.
Great Falls is a very interesting place. I was born and raised in DC and miss the beauty of the Potomac and DC. We don't even have creeks in Florida never mind rapids and waterfalls.............................miss them.

Happy Birthday (belated but heart felt) to you.
Your images are beautiful and appreciate the settings and info. You are a nice person and always have the nicest things to say to hoggers. You have a way of commenting to make everyone feel good about themselves. It is rare these days in this world we live in.
Jules
Thanks for your kind thoughts on the blueberries CPR... btw, Samantha always wants blueberry smoothies when we work together... so I got a grin out of her choice of B-day cake... lol
Yes the Potomac is an awesome natural wonder that winds down from the highlands of WVA to the Chesapeake Bay... much grandeur and history latent within that watercourse... I have kayaked at Great Falls but never run the main drop... guess there may be wisdom in that adage "there are old kayakers and bold kayakers but precious few if any old bold kayakers..." experience can be (and typically is) a brutal teacher...
That said Florida has some of the most diversified wildlife in America... and endless miles of compelling natural seashore... you are a lucky fellow to have escaped to that beautiful area...
Again many thanks again for sharing...
Jules many thanks for your Birthday wishes! btw, we are actually the same age... +/- a couple of months... So I literally feel compelled to keep up to your incredible endurance on the soccer pitch and football field in Sahara like heat... Your imagery is so totally amazing!
And you are way too kind sir... I certainly have grown immensely from following your epic journey in commercial sports photography... you are a very tough act to follow... Please keep up the stellar sports action imagery stream... Looking forward to more of your endeavors which always seem to push the limits of Nikon's finest gear... You have indeed set a very high bar for others like myself to follow...
All the best on your future success...
