Getting the angle

At 83, the best I can do is catch a shot of someone getting low for a nice angle. If I did that, I’d still be down there!

That's where a tilting screen can be helpful. At least you get down to waist level.

Some of my cameras have tilt screens and they are great but...

I also feel your pain, getting there now and if I need to get low, I just fall down....

I've found out that the "Help I've fallen, I can't get up" will get immediate assistance from fellow photogs....

Would you be able to get down there, take your shot and then use a hiking staff or something similar as naid in getting back up?

With great difficulty - when I kneel at home, I keep a chair nearby as a prop.

This is for Canon. Don't know if any other brands have a similar adapter.
Slide the eyepiece off, mount the angle finder. Rotates for portrait.
I use it a lot when I have the camera on a tripod, saves my neck.
