I am absolutely chuffed to bits (extremely happy) with the babies. It may sound ridiculous but these, in
normal circumstances would be still in the nesting box with their parents. I have got them pecking, by me pecking with my finger in the corn dish and they soon get the message. I have done this before and I know it works, it is true, I promise you, it is. I will keep, the syringes handy of course but I think they will be able to feed themselves from now on.
My missus took these pictures with her iPad..............

Such precious little feather dusters. Thank you for caring for them! You seem to have this down to a science.
God's eye is on the sparrow, & on these 2 fledglings, as well
Love is action, not mere emotion. These photos reflect love in action. Thank you for being.

The one with the bird sitting upright,
the 6th one reminds me of my grand father after a big turkey dinner on Thanksgiving
My dad told me he had Homing Pigeons as a young man. (prior to WWII) He decided to sell them prior to going to war. He made many people happy selling them his beautiful birds. The next thing he knew, all the birds game home and he had a renewed flock of birds. He sold them two more times. Made a bit of money and then went off to war. When he came home, the birds were all gone. They must have found someone else to keep them safe and well fed. Little did they know, he had done that for them and the country.
