Erv, right after I mow the yard I'll be looking for the perfect spot to set up! I'm hoping for a touch of cloudiness.

It will really be full tomorrow. But it is really close tonight. That will give you a chance for a good shot if it cloudy tonight or tomorrow night. Not going to be much change in it for the next 3 days really. Just have fun!!:)

HA! Janny had to tell me what that meant. I don't do much TV. I know un American. It just drives me nuts tho. I spend a lot of time outside or in my shop. Or here.:)

I absolutely hate the TV commercials and mute them every chance I get. I understand why the networks have them, but they drive me crazy. If this show (NCIS) wasn't so outstanding I probably would join you, but this show and the news are about the only ones I watch. The rest of the time I'm behind my camera, in my shop or on the computer!

OK Erv, here is my shot for today. Not the best and a tad soft,
but it was the best of 38 shots, all on a tripod, some Live View and some regular, all manual.

Harvey Loc: Pioneer, CA

I'll be shooting as soon as the moon makes it's way over the mountain and past the pine trees - usually it has to be straight south from my house before I get a clear shot at it. Should be a perfect night - no crowds except in the farthest east above the higher mountains.

I am in the same place Harvey. Only in a valley with tall trees.:) I just took a few through the branches I will post waiting for it to get a little higher.
