I have wanted to get some pictures of Painted Buntings for several years and I found them. These were at my friends ranch outside of Mineral Wells, Texas. These were made using a 300mm lens which is new to me.

Great shots of gorgeous birds! Mineral Wells brings back memories of Camp Wolters and helicopter training.
