Haflingers in their winter coats.

The color of Haflingers changes dramatically between summer & winter. After they shed their winter coat, they are a much paler color, like a palomino. Downloading is recommended.

Am I thinking correctly that these have a gait particular to the breed called a "tolt"? Or is that another Scandinavian breed?

You are possibly thinking of an Icelandic Horse--their gaits are quite similar. Earl.
