Dear Nikon Shooters (yes, all hundreds of you),
We are pleased to announce a forthcoming announcement! That's right, we're planning an announcement! Rumors are true that we will announce another DSLR, as we know this mirrorless fad will soon die (by the way, the Z6 and Z7 were just a token bandwagon joke. Give us a break already).
Yup, we're gonna announce a D6! It's gonna be really good, too! As good as Sony's a9! So please don't switch to Sony. Please! Wait and see what we're gonna do. We can't give you any specs, or tell you how much it's gonna cost, or even tell you when we're gonna announce it for reals. We just don't want you to leave us, so we're promising you something!
We gotta wait and see what new wizardry that darn Sony will announce with its stupid a9ii, then we'll make our announcement. We'll promise something that good, too! (just give us a little while to develop some new techy stuff that at least comes close).
Remember, you're shooting a Nikon. Can a Sony shooter say that?

Why do people have to do crap like that. Obviously a Sony fanboy. I guess we should all be in awe of his cleverness and choice of Sony products. If he is representative of Sony owners, I'll stick to my Canon's and Nikon's.

It has everything to do with some half wit Sony fanboy dissing Nikon owners just because he believes he is so superior because of the brand of camera he owns. In the real world it doesn't matter what you have; what matters is ones ability to make use of what they have. I have nothing against Sony products, or Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Fuji, Olympus or any other quality camera manufacturer, they are just tools. What's annoying and undermines the quality of conversation here at UHH are the tools that run their mouths (fingers) about how superior their gear is.

I was not alone thinking it odd for anyone to announce a coming announcement. I took a bit of license and I used hyperbole to make a few points which may or may not be accurate.

Looks like a nerve was struck. Obviously there's some truth in what was said. But let's examine the known variables. Someone blatantly disses Nikon users because Nikon Corporation issued a pre-announcement about an upcoming camera, and at the same time paints an image of Nikon looking to copy Sony. Now, if the disser was a Canon user or Olympus or any other brand except Sony, then it could be interpreted as humor. But, the disser is a Sony user, imagine that!
Then his rebuttal to my reply is name calling. Who would of thought that would happen?!
