What do you think of it, and do you recommend it? I know its a manual focus lens, I would use it on a Canon Rebel XT. Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks everyone.

I'm also interested in the lens. There are many good reviews of it on the web. For an 85mm f/1.4 at ~$260 it looks good for video and portraits. It is also manual aprature so can be used on Sony NEX or 4/3 cameras with an adapter. It is on my wish list although if I win the Lotto I'll buy the Canon 85mm f/1.2l II for ~$2100

I've seen a couple of reviews on the web, it sounds to good to be true for the price. Hoping to hear from someone first hand on this lens. I'm sure it won't compare to the Canon f1.2 though. If I do get it or hear anything I'll let you know, thanks for the comment Robert.

In the ~$800 class a mint Canon used FD 85mm f/1.2 is a sweet piece of glass. You would need an adapter for your Canon which would run $1500 to $2000 to match the quality of the FD. An expensive adapter would not be needed on my NEX5 or soon to be purchased NEX7.
Too many lenses, so little time and money

Buy Canon which cost more but will do a great job. If you want to try lenses go rent them first before buying them.
