They are a wonderful set.
These are Conures. They are not parrots. Years ago, a plane with a crate of Conures fell off the conveyer belt and broke open. Many survived but did not survive the winter. Those that survived adapted, eating fruits from trees and scavenging in garbage. They built nests on telephone poles which were not very attractive. The companies wanted to remove the nests. Several community boards objected. These conures are a new species. They are not migratory, no longer a tropical species and have adapted to winters. The community boards have won against the city of New York. Yeah! Now every morning they fly around squawking incessantly.
