Nice pics, brings back some memories, I worked on a waterside house about halfway up the Island back in the early 70`s, stayed in a caravan on my own for a few weeks, it was awesome there.

I hear yu lound n clear. Having had the good fortune many years ago to have travelled to and camped (in a tent) on the Island, I know the beauty that it has.thanks fr the reminder.G.

Those trees look like Madronas. Arbutus menziesii.
My wife and I have stayed at Nanoose Bay several times, Pacific Shores, and really enjoy the island.
