I want to see what the democratic liberal/socialist have to say about this. Will it be Bush's fault? Will they say the rich is only wanting to get richer? Can't blame the Unions. Lets tax the rich till there are no more rich then we can all be poor. Why are people so blind as to what is going on here in the USA.

Put some thought into this problem and you'll see that the reason the companies are moving is that they are given tax breaks for being overseas including deferral of payment and reduced rates. Both things that the President has said need to be changed but were blocked by the Republican Congress which seems to be able to pass raises for themselves but little else.
This isn't socialism by the way - this is capitalism.
Figure it out.

I guess you didn't read the part that said we have the highest corporate tax rates of the industrialized nations @ 35%...That has nothing to do with tax deferrals Many said it was the anticipated outcome of Obama's policies as the reason that they were relocating..

Yes, we have a high corporate tax rate - in theory - on paper. But there is a huge difference between theory and practice. If you think differently go research how much international corporations with the HQ in the states actually pays?

In some cases, they pay less in taxes than they do in compensation to their CEO.

If that were the case, there would be no need to relocate then would it, yet they are...

You are engaging in a flim flam. Just as Paul Ryan can denounce Obama's policy's for the closure of a plant (which actually closed before Obama was elected) you are trying to lay the blame for many years of American corporate tax policies on Obama.

You know this is not true yet you persist in placing the blame on one guy when in fact the problems long pre-date Obama.

I agree Obama is not a good leader - and he is not as visionary or as progressive as many hoped. But he is also NOT the boogeyman you or the right are attempting to paint him.

All I did was post a link to an article...You are jumping to conclusions in your accusations...If you are referencing the subject line, it's because he hasn't done anything to rectify this situation in the time he has been in office.

walmart has driven more companys overseas than anyone else.surely there must be at least one cpa out there.tell us how many loopholes exist when you are dealing with tens and hundreds of millions.in asia they have sweetheart deals, pay next to nothing, rip off the workers, and have the government act as enforcers to keep the worker in line.yrs ago nike sold shoes that cost $5 to make for$140. now they are selling shoes that cost $20. for $365. when we say no way are we going to be riped off that will stop.we have given up entire industries for cheap labor, and most of the new jobs need fewer workers and pay diddly squat.

Ryan was not blaming Obama for the plant closure, he was blaming Obama for not following up on his promise to reopen the plant.

I hope you don't fly that plane as simplistically as you deduce the concept of socialism from the lack of cooperation in congress......Hey I have an idea lets reduce the FAA workforce like Reagan and make the skies more crowded..........that would be Capitalism.
