Pinnacle Studio Problems

Been having a serious problem using Pinnacle Studio 23. Been receiving an Extended error 0x800041024 when l am trying to burn a DVD movie. It just burns it as a data disk and not as a DVD movie disk. What am l doing wrong? The files were made in MP4 and imported on the timeline and saved as a Media file then exported and saved where L would burn the file via Roxio to a DVD. In the process of burning the disk i would receive this Extended Error message 0x800041024.
Please help have a lot of DVD's to finish and need t complete these projects.

I have Studio 21 but they should be similar. I also had problems burning the DVD and sent an email to their help line and I was impressed at the responses I got. I sent more than one and each time they explained the proper steps to fix my problem. That would be my suggestion.

I'm not at all familiar with Pinnacle Studio, but do know that unless it has a DVD authoring module to create the proper *data file set* for a DVD Video Disc, you'll get just a video data file. Just putting a video file on a DVD won't make it playable in a standalone DVD player.

Found the problem l was having. It was not in Pinnacle Studio but in the burning software Roxio. I uninstalled it found free burning software on the internet from NCH and it works fine. www.nch.com. Will even let me make blue ray DVD's without paying extra for an upgrade to the software. Try it out see if you like it. Been burning DVD's all afternoon. Enjoying the program.
