Stopped to get water and saw a few people standing around on the path... Went over and watched and took pictures for 1/2 hour... While the fawn just ate grass from the ground and two little girls hands... Must have been 10 people stopped taking pictures...

Great captures of some charming pictures, larry. I believe the little girls will treasure the memory of their encounter with the fawn for years to come.

I am sure they will... I think it was grandpa shooting them with a Nikon D3 so i am sure he got many more and better shots... Thanks for lookin annie :)

It doesn't happen often but that kind of thing is one of the many reasons I love Busse Woods... and it is less than a mile from home.

I don't know if this is true but I have read in the past that if a mother deer detects human smell on her fawn she will reject it. Anyone know it there is any truth in this?
