Wanted: Rollei twin lens reflex camera that works.
If you have one you want to sell, please send me a private message.
KEH has a few, too.
https://www.keh.com/shop/cameras/film-cameras/medium-format/rollei.html .
I had both a 2.8 Planar Rolleiflex F and a 3.5 Xenar Rolleicord Vb. The 'flex had the slightly speedier film loading system, the slightly faster lens, a built in and coupled light meter and took both 120 and 220 film. It also had a more complex hood with some eye-level functionality, and a brighter-to-the-corners focusing screen. The self-cocking shutter also made it faster to use from shot to shot than the 'cord.
But I could never see a quality difference between the negatives from the two, and the 'cord is a lot simpler machine than the 'flex. So if you can live without 220 film and the other niceties of a Rolleiflex, a Rolleicord probably will offer longer term mechanical reliability and will cost less to buy in the first place.
