Did you crop in this tight? The image would be more effective if the players were not truncated.
I couldn’t really compose the shot as there were many moving around so I got what I could. To answer your question, it’s not cropped.
Good shot! That's a most interesting leading line to the boy's face. And with that red cap and his own arm, it's impossible to miss your main subject, even though it's stuck way down in the corner. I like it.
Although not the sharpest capture, I fell in love with it! The contrast in the players is wonderful, enlightening, and gives, imho, the world hope.
Thank you for keeping your viewing eye open and getting this shot.
Thanks. It was a grab shot, didn’t have much time to compose.
That’s a nice shot. I like the crop because it puts the focus of the photo exactly where it should be without extraneous material.
I have a friend who is a very successful professional photographer, and one of his favorite phrases is, “If you’re going to crop, crop!” I believe that’s what you have done here, either with the camera or in post-processing.

I love this shot! The contrast between the two players is striking, as is the concentration and expression on the boy’s face. Priceless! As previously stated I also like the leading lines and red cap.
Great shot.
Steve
Sometimes you just have to get what you can get - great shot!
Am I the only one who thinks it's a little girl?
