Epic decisive moment superbly capture... iconic magazine cover pose dynamic... your image showcases Rhys' impressive muscular arms... at 6' 4" he must be larger than life on the field and an awesome threat to any one on the pitcher's mound.
btw, loving the Phillies wardrobe styling... that vivid scarlet red is a standout winner! and certainly must be idea for your D500's amazing Color Matrix focusing system (one the best Nikon has ever crafted).
The download is rather impressive.... Your AF-P 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 DX VR rendered colors brilliantly especially considering its "bargain" price. btw, I actually picked up a (New) "white box" version from Walmart for $200 just after it came out... this "Kit Lens" bundled with a myriad of DX bodies soon became ubiquitous in White Box scenarios at less than half what Nikon was asking for it solo (albeit sans the 5 year warranty). I highly recommend it for a DX "Walk-around"
Noticed you were shooting it at 1/1000 at f/6.3 and ISO 6400... I've had stellar results stopping this wonderful lens to f/8 which (from my experience) greatly increases it's acuity (especially at the edges).
