I am planning to update my cell phone. The Google Pixel cell phone lately gets a lot of very favorable comments. It is said that it has one of the best cameras that any cell phone has. Would love to hear comments about this from anyone having used this phone. Also has anyone had any "good or bad" experience in buying a refurbished cell phone?
I have had a Pixel 3 for about a month, so I have little experience with it, but so far I have been very pleased with this phone. My wife has Iphone 10 and my pixel 3 makes far better photos. The night photo mode works amazingly well. This phone plus Google Fi service seems to be a great deal.
It sounds like a nice addition to one's pocket. I think I have an iPhone 2 or perhaps it is an iPhone 3. I'm not sure. I really use my phone as a phone. I'm don't use it as anything else. Maybe one day I get used to having a compass, record player, letter opener, Boy Scout combination knife and camera in my shirt pocket. If anyone has experience with this phone, please share. I'm just getting used to not using my house phone on my kitchen counter. LOL!
Getting ready to get away from my old flip phone that has served me well for years and years. Verizon will no longer support it. CRAP!!

I’ve had a refurbished iPhone 5s for about 3yrs, phone and apps work very well, only take quick snap shots with camera. Links to iPad. It’s a great phone and was a great price from Amazon.

My iPhone 6 died - after looking at the prices of new iPhones, I purchased a refurbished iPhone 6 from Amazon for $200, and just had to change the SIM card. I am use to the format of the iPhone - I tried a Samsung and although the camera was better, using it for anything else was far less intuitive than the iPhone.

I’ve bought about 4 used phones from Gazelle(.com) and been happy with each one.
I love my Pixel 2 -- a great camera for when I don't have my Sony on hand. The Mount Vernon pics on my Shutterfly page were taken with the Pixel.
I inherited my sons iPhone 8 when he purchased an iPhone 10. Cheap. It was free. It does have a slightly cracked screen, but you can't look a gift horse in the mouth. I actually have to look to see the crack. I use it more for texting than for the phone. I never thought it would get to that, but texting is quite useful. It saves a lot of time over a phone call. Plus, you can't exactly use the phone to call the deaf!!! But you can text them. Sure beats the old TTY!!!

I have a pixel 3a for about 3 months. It has a 12mp camera and great photo software inside. It take great low light photos for a cell phone. It runs on android 9 (Pie). It has a mid line processor which is more than enough for me. Great phone. No insults intended but I'm an android guy. Cost only $400 too. Read the reviews on it's photo ability. Bought new though.
