From the world is going to end for Nikon users (Nikon supposedly is quitting the production of entry level - THAT from a RUMOR site -) to hacking cameras...
There is plenty of fodder on line to scare the poop out of the pharanoic* Nikon photographers...
Is the hack? Yup. Are you targeted? Nope.
So?
Someone is out to get you, right? Well... that someone already has you since you are looking over your shoulder instead of looking at your subject.
* Paranoid, pharaoh** and photographer, after all, many think they are the reincarnation of some Egyptian... If one thinks about that poor guy must have had an incredible personality disorder numbering in the thousands (if not millions) ...
** Goes with paranoid as some think they are kings of the hills... Probably a mole's, question of perspective and vision, said mole not being able to see that far ahead beyond their hairy nose... No wonder so many offering are out of focus...

The American people in general are getting more paranoid not just on the UHH. (Well I think most of the UHH members are in the USA.)

I think there is some truth in what Ron posted. The general population is trending to, if not paranoia, abject pessimism. We are being pushed in that direction by the media which knows that bad news captures our attention and fear sells product. The news part of that should be self evident as to fear selling, pay attention to the marketing angle of almost all non prime TV ads.

Personal attacks and insults are everywhere on social media. There are fewer here than other sites, but still there are some who will think it is ok to use disparaging words and personal attacks. One person starts and others are emboldened and start in and pile one. Find another way to make your point without calling names.

Yeah, you probably need more sleep, but, paranoia is nothing new here on the UHH. Why do you think that there are endless questions and opinions about every conceivable (and often inconceivable) set of circumstances that someone is sure will cause their camera to explode, turn into a Yugo, or even get their dog pregnant?
