[quote=artBob]Thanks to all.
Those squiggly lines are moire pattern from a screen. I don't like to drop in a false sky. However, I think I might have to, now that it really is noticeable. But first, I'll try some of the suggested methods found by googling. I'll share any discoveries.

Google suggestions did not help, always leaving traces. SO---In Photoshop, I selected the blue color in each of the 5 sections of sky, and painted "Darker Color," sometimes 100%, sometimes less (since the moire color was almost complementary and thus darkened the blue to suggest cloud base).

Whadya think?

Love the feel and boy would I enjoy a spot like this. My feeling if possible would be to angle the chair as if ready for someone to be seated and this would be on opposite side from lamp. Bring out clouds. Maybe remove cloth on table and leave natural. Hope I am remembering correctly what I saw.

There is so much I like about this image. The warm glow from the lamp as opposed to the bright day light. The grittiness of the window caused by the screen. The hint of of the chair. Just enough of the chair to let the viewer know it is there.
Well done.

Thank you all for the thoughtful comments. They help in understanding if the photo communicates what I'd hoped it would.

The chair looks like it's in a "stored" position under the table, not necessarily recently vacated. As I suggested before, having the chair on the left side of the frame and turned partly to the right might be better. I think it would reinforce your "story".

But, as I said before, I like the image!
