They're both excellent. The delicate nature of #2 is great. Was it done with a macro lens?

Thanks to all. Yes. olympus e-m1, 60mm f2.8 100sec, handheld. manual mode. sometimes I get lucky and can pull off a handheld macro shot. As the years pile on, it gets a bit harder.

Just a quick addendum. All my shots are jpegs. I try to get all my work as close to the actual scene as possible. I do a lot of both eyes open shots. make minor adjustments in camera.
