Hello, I own a canon sis rebel T7 and would like to know what the best all in one daily driver Lense would be. I only want to carry around one Lense and I have a budget of around $175. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

A good lens to start with is a 50 mm 1.8 prime lens...

You may say the 50mm is a good all around lens for a full frame camera like the 6D but not for the T7.

If your budget is that tight, just use your cell phone. Lenses are hard to find in that price range.

At that price point and with no other qualifying factors, like what you may already have how about the 18-55?
I have a new one I’m getting ready to sell.
PM me.

If I had to choose only one lens for a Rebel series camera body I'd get the Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens. It's a lot more than you want to spend, but you may be able to find a good used one on eBay or Craigslist. Amazon has a grey market one for $479 but the U.S. model is $699. Refurbished from Canon for $560.

Canon 28-135 used would be a great budget lens. Here's a used one

Check this lens (used but top rated) for $99. 17-85 f4-5.6 IS USM
https://www.adorama.com/us%20%20%201159701.html

This will suit your needs for now and is well under your budget. Other than that, most decent lenses will be starting at $400-$500. An 18-135 or the 18-200 that was mentioned are both good for what you want, but they are double what you have to spend.

Edit. Went further on in the used Dept of Adorama and found this gem. More than what your budget is, but a really good deal.

Find a used copy of the EF-S 18-135 IS, it fits both your general purpose needs for 1 lens and fits within your budget.

Sell your DSLR and buy a P&S.
Why spend money on an interchangeable lens camera if you're only going to use one lens?

Thank you all so much for all of the replies. I think I am going to be purchasing the canon Efs 18 - 135mm on amazon for $262. I was just curious if you could get a good walk around Lense for cheap, but I guess not. Thanks again.

You can save yourself money by shopping EX / EX+ rated versions at a used reseller such as KEH.com. They have one with a hood (typically a separate cost) for less than the cost of buying a new copy of just the lens.
