Yes, it is my coworkers wife.
Does she take pictures - not that I know of?
She owns a Nikon 3100
Wants to sell... then get a new dslr...
Asked why.. She wants better pictures.
Classic - own better be better!....?
Any links, thoughts, ideas to help change the
feminine mind on this?
Please post links to free classes, besides Utube..
- Or, give all
I will copy and keep for other new and asking
the same.
I'll post the basic Go here (I check posts Daily)
Just need to show her that it is not the camera that makes everything...
And I did not forget
AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II
Again- classic all better get better-
I have told them equipment does not make the better pic's
But.. well no offence to anyone - but that is not what the lady is thinking.
Ideas Welcome...
p.s. she wanted to ask $900 for her camera to get
the new one.
Is my grammer and spelling satisfactory
for those who CARE? lol
Sounds like she is dreaming. More expensive camera means better pictures. Try to steer her towards looking at all the pictures posted on the hog. That will show her all the diferent kinds of camera's and photo's. Which may help her make up her mind. But who knows.
$900 for a camera that sells for $500 brand new? Sounds like she is dreaming more than one dream at a time.

Others have said that people come up to them and say you must have a great camera because the pictures you take are so good.
My reply. Your face is beautiful you must have incredible makeup! Tell me what you use.
That is my ..... Lol. Lady wants it all.
But honestly. Give me without work. The apittamy of America.

Ask her what she wants to spend, and what kind of pics she wants to take- then ask these guys and girls here what LENS she should get......

Tell her to take some money down to the bookstore and go to the photography section. Or links online should help too, just depends on how you like to read things. I prefer books and I have enjoyed Scott Kelby's books How to Make Your Photos Look Like the Pros'! There's also books like Understanding Exposure or books that are specifically for her camera that could help her learn how to use all the features that could help.
Scott kelby. Ty. I will look myself also. But a lady on a mission is a tough change. Wish Aron well lOl.

I have been into photography for about three years.....Bought a decent set up in January and I use it almost every day.......Blondie (that's my wife) decided she was going to take photos tooo...... Back in April she spent $500.00 on some fuji muji P&S camera...it's very pretty and fits nicely in the pink leather case......I think it may have 5 clicks on the shutter.

Your grammar and spelling are unsatisfactory, but who cares? :D
If she wants a nice new camera, then she should get one. I'd bet anything that she'll say she likes the new images better than the old.
Since she has a Nikon, you could steer her toward the D4. I hear that's pretty good. Or else, she could step down to the D800 and save some money. :D
Tell her it has nothing to do with the camera.... it's all about composition !
