Bats in flight

A colony of Mexican free-tailed bats lives under the Yolo causeway, which carries I-80 over the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Reserve. They fly out at sunset to feed, and I took these shots last week while on a bat walk organized by the Reserve.
It turned out that a pair of peregrine falcons were on their own bat flight, and I was lucky enough to capture the capture of a bat.
Unfortunately I only had the 70-300 mm lens with me, so the capture is a big crop! But I was glad I got it. My Sony A73 did a fantastic job of focussing in the low light.

That 1st one is beautiful, and captures the time of day very well. Neat shots! Falcon shots quite a bit of interest, too!
Austin, Texas has a similar setting, over the river, for those closer to that area.

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments! Next time I go, I'll take my 150-660 lens too.
