Coool! Ive seen a red squirrel around here but hes been elusive since i started literally carrying my camera everywhere i go..

I love that shot of the black squirrel Val, makes me wanna grab a grey one and have fun with some shoe polish or a can of black spray paint LOL kidding of course!

WOW Fawlty! Those are realy up close and personal. What kind of lense did you use.. Im in the market for something better than my Kit 18-55MM which is great for Macro when I reverse it, and my 55-200mm isnt a wide angle. so im lookinf for something in I guess a 35- 100mm (wide angle maybe?) Suggestuons please

Thanks frankie. I shoot with an Olympus E-520, the lens I used for these shots is 70-300mm f4 - 5.6.

I took some today too...was hoping this one would hang on the branch like he was going to do some pull ups, but he didnt =0(

These shots were taken at a park where people put food out for birds & squirrels, which in turn, makes them more trusting of humans (not really sure that's a good thing) but it allows me to sometime get within 6 or 7 feet of them before they'll run off.

I was playing around with cs4, I didn't like how the picture came out, so I played around with the levels. I didn't know what I wanted out of this shot really...except for the pose I was looking for. I just bought a canon telephoto lens, and was out playing with it. It gets really grainy in low light =0(

how did you get the colors to look that way btw?

I applied the white balance dropper in lightroom on a gray branch. I couldn't find anything white so the branch worked.
