Trump is again showing his White Nationalist leanings again; not to mention his complete lack of knowledge and understanding of the Constitution.

"We're looking at that very seriously, birthright citizenship," Trump told reporters outside the White House, echoing his administration's previous vow to unilaterally end the process by which babies born in the country automatically become citizens.

The 14th Amendment of the Constitution guarantees birthright citizenship and states: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

The ability of a president to end birthright citizenship has been extensively challenged by a range of lawmakers and legal scholars -- including one of Trump's own judicial nominees.


James Ho, a Trump appointee to the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals who is highly respected in conservative circles, wrote a paper in 2006 noting that such proposals concerning birthright citizenship raise serious constitutional questions due to the clear words in the 14th Amendment."

President Donald Trump is fulfilling a wish white nationalists have had "for decades" by ending birthright citizenship, according to the former poster boy of the Ku Klux Klan.

Derek Black, 29, the godson of ex-Grand Wizard David Duke, said Trump's hard-line immigration policy is pandering to far-right h**e groups—whether he's aware of it or not.

"The government itself is carrying through a lot of the beliefs [white nationalist groups] have and a lot of the goals—things like limiting immigration, and as of today, the goal of ending birthright citizenship.

That has been a goal of white nationalists for decades, like explicit: this is what they want to do," Black told the New York Daily News.

"They have a person in the White House that is advocating the exact white nationalist goal that is one of the cornerstones of their belief system."

Okay Trumpers, here's a reality check. In order to eliminate Birth Right Citizenship, you must repeal the 14th Amendment. In order to do that you will need 38 States to ratify that change and no state can be forced to put it on the b****t.
You might look at the 1971 Equal Rights Amendment and see how well that worked out to figure out how well this one is going to go.
So if you want this repealed, get off this forum and get to work.

How about not allowing the drug companies to charge thousands of dollars for drugs that they developed while receiving millions in federal grants to develop them.
