Landscape near Carnation, Washington

It was a dark, dreary, overcast, and rainy day around the small community of Carnation that lies along the Snoqualmie River. However, with a twitchy shutter finger, I came across this scene and snapped away. I utilized both Affinity Photo and the Luminar Flex plug in to slightly enhance the photo. At first, my intention was to crop more closely to the bridge, but all that did was to take away the essence of the valley, so I left it as is. Comments are always welcome. Ken

This scene has its own eye appeal and mood -- better rendered when filling the computer monitor. An essence (a preciousness, if you will) does present itself via this photograph. I call it a sense of place. A viewer can stare at the captured scene and fall into it. The scene compels the eye. Overall, you have a winner.
