Wonderful work! Do you have information about how you do this or recommendations for beginners who want to try similar astrophotography. Thanks again for your post!
Blimey, that's a question & half.
For me, it all started with simple star trails (fixed tripod, nikon dslr, wide lens, remote shutter release)
Aimed north, fired off loads of frames, stacked them in 'startrail'
During the star trails i started to accidentally capture galaxies & nebula.
This started to slippery slope of astrophotography & the eagerness to explore deeper into the nights sky as well as the purchase of tracking mounts, modified dslr, better lenses etc
Most of my experiences like many others is self taught, trial & error, joining AP forums & good old google.
I hope this helps a little
Marc
Excellent video, most enjoyable!
Thanks! I'm at the beginning of that slippery slope... Been capturing 'simple' things but see more I want to capture. Thanks for your thoughts!

Incredible Marc!
Absolutely the best presentation I have ever seen!
I hope you don't mind, but I shared it on my facebook page.
You inspire me to get my butt back out in the yard collecting photons again.
Well Done! Well Done Indeed!
