You make this decision tough. Cooler is my preference. I think more of the overall details show up, and you still get a nice warm/cool contrast without overdoing it.
Different people will have a different taste. Some people love vivid colors while others like me prefer pastel colors. Some prefer contrasty images others do not. I love contrast in b&w images. I tend to slightly warm my images but in this particular case I prefer the cooler version. I think it is more realistic than the warmer one.
Thanks, Almostageezer I only shoot only raw and the file size 50 MB on up so sending an unedited jpeg from raw is like sending one page from a law library. I am going back and starting from scratch trying some of the good ideas posted.

Both look "too" edited to my eye. Show the original? Then baby steps in editing from there. No disrespect meant, as we all have different ideas of what we like.
Thanks bellgamin your vision looking at both images.

Both are superb. When I look at the *cool,* I wish I had taken that photo. When I look at the *warm*, I want to walk across that bridge, enter that barn, and see what's inside.
Thanks William for your thoughts about this image.
