I like the second the most.

One of my favorite scenes.
Appears to have been a high-contrast, warm-lighting moment, judging from the sunset.
On my 27-inch Mac screen, the saturation seem high.
My wife, passing by, prefers the cooler.

Cooler for me. Both are nice, though.

Thanks for the input, Barry.

Cooler looks a bit more realistic. IMHO both need less saturation.

Thanks, BlingRunner all input is appreciated.

This is the same thing I was thinking. That said, I like the cooler one. You know, "it was a dark and story night" feeling is more dramatic to me.

Thanks Dick, Each has some parts that are better than the other. The magic of PS it can correct that problem.

"Tiz a puzzlement!" I much prefer the sky in the warmer version but I like the barn detail in the cooler version since it is the attention focus of the work. The cool version of the bridge looks weaker, but this is a perfect example of a challenge for photoshop. Nice photo!

Thank dd lee, Your observations are the same ones I have noticed.

Both are good, it depends on what you want folks to be drawn to. Warmer accentuates the barn and sunset, cooler accentuates the mountains and storm.

Thanks, Curmudgeon for that time to voice your opinion.

IMHO Cooler, only because it looks less processed. Both shots are well done.

Thanks, Longshadow and overall I agree with you but there are some parts in the other I may add the cooler one.

Fred, Give my thanks to the wife for her opinion. Second I also have a 27" 5K iMac and love it. My question is do you calibrate it? I have two screens the second is Samsung 4k 31 inch. I calibrate both using ColorMunki. If you only look at only Samsung it looks good but with the same image on both screens side by side. The iMac 5k blows the Samsung away and the Samsung does look over-saturated. I trust my iMac on images and use the Samsung for emails, file management, etc.

Both look "too" edited to my eye. Show the original? Then baby steps in editing from there. No disrespect meant, as we all have different ideas of what we like.

Both are superb. When I look at the *cool,* I wish I had taken that photo. When I look at the *warm*, I want to walk across that bridge, enter that barn, and see what's inside.
