This is an excellent 300mm lens from Nikon at a constant f4. Asking $650 plush shipping.
It is good in low light and still light enough to shoot hand held. 300mm is a great prime for sports and portraits. Glass is clean and everything works well.
I am upgrading this to the much heavier 2.8 version as I shoot sports assignments in some dark conditions and need the extra stop. This model is very good and in great shape. The one main concern to look out for on these lenses is a squeaky auto-focus motor. This one is silent and fast. It is the newest model that is still being made by Nikon.
Includes original box, bag and end caps.

Edit: Shipping - I can do USPS, FedEx or other. Not looking to make money on shipping, but want is shipped securely. I'm guessing it will fit in a box I have and weigh about 7lbs packed up with box, bad and padding.

That is correct.
No VR and there is a built in lens hood. It slides out and then turns to thread into place.

That is kind of funny. Let her know it is actually a great focal length for portraits. Seriously, if you have questions, let me know. It is a well talked about lens. I love my new 300/2.8, but it is heavy. This lens can still serve a purpose for me and I can answer questions on it.
