First time to Glacier. WOW!!
Personally I don't know if global warming exists or not, if it does then I would surmise they would also be a global cooling at some point. Either way I leave such worries to the master of all creation, and just try to be a good neighbor. 😀
I've been to Glacier NP in early June, mid-summer, and, last trip, in mid-September. It is well worth it to see the park in different seasons, even if the Going-to-theSun Road is closed due to snow. It is spectacular every season.
Glacier NP and Grand Teton NP are my favorites!
When I was there I was told that the park is named Glacier because it was formed by glaciers, not because there are glaciers there. And although the glaciers are melting, their melt rate has actually slowed.
