I came across this guy in Pickett State Park Tennessee. The ranger told me these are rare to see due to low numbers. I wanted to get him coiled up for the photograph but he wasn't interested and wanted to just keep moving along. State law makes it illegal to kill any snake in Tennessee which I feel they need to pass nation wide.

Would that apply to the invasive pythons in Florida?
I do have mixed feelings about the invasive phythons in Florida however, they were brought over by man and not by there own choice so is it fair to kill the animal when it was mans mistake? The downfall is its not the Natural Habitats fault either that man messed up so we have a need to protect what was already there.
