P29 Jim my dear friend you have just blown me away
#2 hit me as soon as I looked at it, WHY at this moment in time I cannot tell you but that is the beauty of Art there does not have to be a reason.
I will study it deeper later.
I just needed to tell you what your work did to me.
This is the best piece of Art I have seen in years Jim and so pleased it was produced by you on your challenge.
I see many works in all the top galleries in London frequently but none have had the effect yours is having on me.
Talk more tomorrow, need to view again then sleep

Always enjoy your photos Richard, always. Thanks for sharing. I have done solitary there on my bike many years ago.

P 10 Thank you, Jim, for hosting this marvelous congregation of "loners!" Since I'm now mostly alone in my house, except for trips to various doctors (who apparently think I'll live forever), I look forward to the many photos posted by fellow Hoggers. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all!

Loving everyone's solitude; relaxing day on the beach kicked back with a cool drink in hand is ok but give me a countryside stroll down an old dirt road, a meander through the woods and a nice calm cool spring-fed lake without the beachcombers, volleyball players, disc throwers and sandkickers and I'm in my place of solitude...then again I'm quite content stoking up a small campfire in my own backyard, stretching out on my lawn chair staring up at the stars listening to the greenies at the pond across the road or waking before dawn, grabbing a cup and sitting on the back steps listening and watching the birds wake up as the sun rises over the mountain...I live in a solitude paradise and would have it no other way!

Uhh...Simon, I am lacking words here, have never been so flattered. A few words that I can say though is that I have been here now for some years and have learned so much, from so many , thank you so much. Again

Being a northerner the thing that hits me first is the length of the driveway to clear the snow
